What
does this
mean
for me?
For students
- My digital environment ‘just works’ and help me do what I need to do, when and where I need to do it.
- My learning is flexible and engaging whether I am online or on any of our campuses e.g. Brayford, Holbeach or Riseholme.
- I can access systems and services through the device that best suits me, whether that is the new app, the refreshed Gateway or key platforms like Blackboard Ultra.
- Studying and research is easier because all the information I need is easy to find and accessible wherever I am.
- I don’t need to worry if I’m not technical as our digital systems are intuitive and user friendly. I can figure out how to use them without too much help and I know someone is there to help in the Digital Service Hub in person or online if I need it.
For staff
- I understand our digital ambition and how it will enable me to do my work more easily and more efficiently because our systems and processes are joined-up and work effectively together.
- Repetitive jobs are automated, so I have more time to focus on students and colleagues.
- I have access to trusted data and insights that help me make better decisions.
- All the services I need to use to do my work are easy to access and use.
- I can rely on the basics to work whether I’m on any of our campuses or remote: great connectivity, responsive applications and digitally enabled spaces to work in.
