Digital Portfolio
and Roadmap
Our immediate priorities are part of an updated portfolio of initiatives, aligned to the key strategic drivers, with a roadmap showing how and when they will be delivered. This sits alongside normal operational activity.
To enable the delivery of the strategy and roadmap, we are also investing in our team to enhance current capability and capacity.

We are also partnering with academic colleagues and students where we can, whether that is in the co-design of the research computing as a service or to get valuable design insights for the new student app, refresh of the student Gateway and ultimately, Lincoln Connects as the digital spine for our students.
We also need to be realistic that as much as we have consulted on the priorities for the portfolio and roadmap, new requests will continue to emerge from students and staff. As we deliver some of our current commitments like network segmentation and the update to the audio visual technology across the campus, we will create some space to take on additional requirements such as the new developments emerging for LIAT on the Riseholme Estate, the changing demands for digital education posed by the independence of the Medical School and the potential to add new courses.
Working with colleagues to better understand and respond to that emerging demand for digital services is part of the reason why we created a Digital Delivery team and refreshing how we manage demand in a more agile environment. As that settles down it should help to make delivery and impact more visible and in turn inform the discussion about what next, why and when.
